iPhone 5: Is it worth waiting for?
Bigger screen? New colors? Liquid metal body? Hologram? Here are the latest rumors about iPhone 5. No way that we’re going to see an iPhone like the one below in the following years… no way! Let’s call this a futuristic Apple handset, if you want, although this concept is called an iPhone 5 right now. What we have right here is a device with a holographic interface and what looks like a projector.

The already classic edge to edge display and a very slim design are also in the mix, as shown in the video from our source below. Since Apple recently patented a pico projector and bought the domain applepico.com, it’s only a matter of time till we’ll see iPhones with projectors inside and capable of projecting holograms for interface.
Considering laser keyboards already exist, why not use the same technology to project a virtual keyboard outside this handset? An iPhone 5 with a pico projector is a mere dream, but what about the iPhone 6? If you were part of Apple and had to choose between implementing a 3D screen and a projector, what would you pick?

This latest model will not accommodate 4G connectivity. While see as a major setback for the franchise many people see 4G as over kill and that it was more important for Apple to become a global force to be reckoned with over getting new technology in place. The most impressive features include the introduction of improved Near Field Communications. This type of technology is what allows mobile devices to use Bluetooth and short range wireless interaction between phone users.
The iPhone 5 will be equipped with new and improved cameras and still photo technology. More pixels and storage space seem to be of greater concern and is possible a move by Apple to outdo other brands that place emphasis on these features. Video capabilities as well as live posting to the web will be of greater concern in this model and works well with the new processor equipped with High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) which will accommodate faster 3G support. This will be extremely attractive when the model will be available to all carriers in the United States which include AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile. The introduction of CDMA technology is also an added plus to this model. It means that the iPhone will marketable globally.

The iPhone 5 will be the fifth release of the mobile phone offered by Apple and now accompanies the larger tablet iPad, along with Mac computers and iPods to form a range of impressive and powerful technology based on intuitive controls and stunning design. In fact it is certain that this new release will contain the iCloud which provides remote storage and backup for files including your iTunes music, photos, videos and more while also pushing them to all the respective above devices you may own. Naturally you will still be able to add to the many built-in apps that the device will offer, including probable new ones, through the App Store and many more subtle new features will also be added as part of the operating system. Whether it will still be iOS 5 is looking more doubtful though. The new iPad recently released includes iOS 5.1 and by the Summer or later release of the iPhone 5 in white we could rightly see the combined launch of iOS 6.
Aesthetically the iPhone will no longer use a glass casing but a metal one. This is expected to improve the study look, offer greater protection of the phone from free falls and more importantly help to address the reception and antenna issues that the iPhone earlier models suffered from. This new model is expected to be much lighter, have a much sleeker look and will be much more slender, hence making it more attractive and easier to carry around. The reduction in size is definitely useful because it allowed for the introduction of what were known as smaller conductive nodes.
Undoubtedly the introduction of a dual core processor is the most important development and one that will push the iPhone 5 into a new market that many competitors will be able to follow.

This has happened twice now. My iPhone 5 has turned off in the middle of the night with a full charge and off the charger, and when I try to turn it back on it takes a couple tries.

I just picked up a white 16GB iPhone 5 with sprint last week(though im taking it back in the morning and exchanging it for a black 32GB). The battery life has been superb for me. It charges up really fast and it last way longer than the 4S. And sprint’s new LTE has been great in most of the chicago area, and it works inside buildings! What kind of battery life you’ve been getting from you ip5?

I’ve heard that rubbing it vigorously might help, but I don’t know how long to do it and whether or not it will work with a completely uncharged iPhone 5.
